Singer Kyuhyun recently reflected on his experience filming 'The Devil’s Plan: Death Room,' where he appeared alongside legendary Go player Lee Sedol. Speaking on the May 6 episode of the YouTube show 'Salon Drip 2,' Kyuhyun described Lee as the most chilling participant and said it felt like his brain was wired differently from everyone else's.

During the interview, Kyuhyun shared that he hesitated before accepting the offer to join the Netflix reality show. He admitted he had doubts about whether participating would actually be good for him.
Known as the "brain" among his fellow Super Junior members, he was concerned about the possibility of failing early on and how that might affect his image. He added that reactions from people around him were quite divided, with some encouraging him to take the chance and others warning him against it.
Looking back, he said he feels good about how things turned out. While it wasn’t just about winning or losing, he felt it was meaningful to step back into the role of a player. Recently he had mostly been appearing on shows as a host or panelist, so taking on a more active, competitive role reminded him of his time on New Journey to the West.
Kyuhyun was especially impressed by Lee Sedol, calling him the most striking participant. He explained that Lee’s actions and way of thinking were noticeably different from everyone else’s. After watching him up close, Kyuhyun said he could understand why Lee is considered a legend, and that it truly felt like his brain operated on another level.
