On the May 5th episode of Channel A's 'Table for 4,' singer Kim Junsu invited musical actor Son Jun Ho, former SS501 member Kim Hyung Jun, and trot singer Jung Dong Won to join the show.
Kim Hyung Jun shared that before becoming close with Kim Junsu, he had some preconceived notions about him. He revealed, “TVXQ and SS501 used to meet up frequently, but neither Kim Junsu nor I were ever invited.”
Kim Junsu quickly explained, “I don’t like drinking, which is why I didn’t go to those gatherings.” To this, Kim Hyung Jun added, “I wasn’t invited by the members.”
Laughing, Kim Junsu responded, “Why didn’t they invite you? Were you being bullied?”
Kim Hyung Jun then explained, “I was shy and sensitive at the time. I had seen the other members, but I didn’t see Kim Junsu, so I thought, ‘Maybe he’s avoiding me.’ I felt he was a cold person.”
Despite these thoughts, Kim Hyung Jun revealed that he joined the military police to get closer to Kim Junsu. Through a military instructor, he finally got in touch with Kim Junsu, which led to their first phone call.
Recalling the moment, Kim Hyung Jun shared that, despite his nervousness, Kim Junsu’s warm welcome made him tear up.
