Singer Karina has responded to recent controversy surrounding alleged political symbolism in her social media post.
On May 28th KST, Karina posted a brief message through the fan communication platform Bubble, addressing speculation that she had expressed support for a specific political party.
“I’m sorry for making you worry. That was never my intention,” she wrote. “I realized I needed to speak up directly because the misunderstanding kept growing and MYs were getting really concerned.” She added, “I’ll be more mindful and cautious with my actions going forward. Once again, I’m sorry for causing concern.”
Despite the apology, the controversy has not subsided. Some critics argue that her statement was insufficient, pointing out that:
– the clarification was not made through an official channel like Instagram,
– it came only after the issue gained significant traction, and
– the statement itself was notably brief.
As a result, online discussions remain heated, with some expressing disappointment over how the situation was handled.
