With the industry saturated with various idol groups and fierce competition to catch the public's attention, it's not easy to survive the K-pop world.
And it goes without saying that many idol groups have disbanded over the years. Recently, K-pop fans noticed that most of the girl groups that debuted in 2019 have already disbanded, leaving only two groups still active - ITZY and EVERGLOW.

One K-pop fan shared that only ITZY and EVERGLOW are the two surviving groups, since EVERGLOW's Onda and Siyeon clarified that the group was not disbanding despite leaving their respective agency. The fan explained, "I guess there are going to be a handful of these girls who will appear on 'Girls' Planet 2' next year."
