Initially, IU and V were thought to be dining alone, but the latest accounts revealed they also met with 2 AM's Seulong and another female acquaintance.

While some fans were excited to see two of the biggest K-pop stars, there were some negative opinions. Many fans argued that the two may be catching up as friends since V and IU previously worked together on her music video "Love Wins All," but there were some negative opinions about the two being on a date.
