Band Jannabi has released their fourth full-length album, ‘Sound of Music pt.1.’
On April 28th at 6 PM KST, Jannabi unveiled their new album and kicked off promotions with the title track ‘In the Name of Love!’ The song entered the Melon TOP100 immediately after release and ranked high on the HOT100 (as of April 30th) and Bugs’ real-time chart.
The new track blends Jannabi’s signature emotional sound with a modern sophistication. Notably, aespa’s Karina participated as a featuring artist, adding fresh energy to the song with her vocals, which has been well-received by listeners.
The music video for ‘In the Name of Love!’ features actress Chae Seo An, who recently starred in the Netflix drama ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines.’ The retro-style visuals and the actors’ performances enhance the immersive experience of the song and video.
The title track focuses on capturing the emotions of love and the preciousness of those moments, aiming to convey feelings directly without complicated interpretations.
The fourth full album reinterprets nostalgic elements through a modern lens using a “sound collage” technique. Based on the message “music is not an illusion but reality,” the album expresses present emotions and life through music.
