A former girl group member is thriving in a new career in insurance.
Former Jewelry member Jo Min Ah, now working as an insurance planner, recently shared an update on her latest achievement as a top insurance seller. On her personal Instagram on April 20, Jo Min Ah wrote:
"It’s not that those who are good last long, but that those who last long become good," adding the message, "Those who endure, win." She also wrote, "Consistently, and happily. Let’s keep going for the long run," alongside a set of recent photos.
In one of the photos, Jo Min Ah is seen standing on stage receiving an award, with a number one title displayed on the screen behind her. Using hashtags such as #DongbuInsurance, #NationalNo1, and #LifeConsultantForAll, she confirmed her recognition as the top insurance seller.
Earlier in March, Jo Min Ah also shared news of winning the DB Queen award for the seventh time. She wrote, "This is my 7th time receiving the DB Queen award. I thought I’d never hold a mic again unless I was performing as a singer, but I’m thankfully holding one every month. I’ll have to prepare a song as my next acceptance speech," adding, "To all the staff who always work hard, and to the Gimpo TC family who lift each other up in the same space, I sincerely love you and thank you."
She also confirmed that she ranked 4th nationwide in insurance sales at her company.
Jo Min Ah joined Jewelry in 2002 and remained active until November 2006. In 2020, she legally married a fitness center CEO who is six years her senior, but announced their divorce in 2022, two years after the birth of their son. On top of her career in insurance, she also works as a tarot reader, counselor, and offers private baking classes.
