Actor Lee Soo Hyuk and Big Bang’s G-Dragon are drawing attention with their display of genuine “real friend” chemistry.
On April 7, Lee Soo Hyuk shared a screenshot of his direct messages (DMs) with G-Dragon on his social media, along with the caption, “Is he in his right mind? I thought he was starting to act normal again. I should worry about myself.”
In the DMs, G-Dragon had sent Lee Soo Hyuk a video clip of one of his past interviews. In the video, Lee Soo Hyuk was asked if he had any hobbies besides working out, to which he replied, “I’m busy watching OTT (streaming platforms). My favorite singers are making comebacks, so I’m really busy.”
Upon receiving the video, Lee Soo Hyuk responded, “That was so long ago. I think it was when I was filming ‘Tomorrow' (2022).”
G-Dragon playfully replied, “LOL. Then who were you talking about making a comeback?” Lee Soo Hyuk jokingly shot back, “You crazy guy, did you think I was talking about you?”
To that, G-Dragon affectionately responded, “Yeah. Who else could your favorite singer be besides me? Make sure to choose your answer wisely.”
In a follow-up post, when G-Dragon promoted Lee Soo Hyuk’s new film 'Blue' on his Instagram story, Lee Soo Hyuk reposted it with the caption, “Maybe he is in his right mind. Or is he just going through a lot? He’s doing stuff he normally never does. Still, thanks.” Though worded playfully, the appreciation came through.
Born in 1988, G-Dragon and Lee Soo Hyuk are the same age and are known to be close friends. Lee Soo Hyuk also recently appeared on G-Dragon’s show 'Good Day,' further showcasing their strong bond.
