According to media outlet reports on March 20 KST, Lee Soo Geun, Eun Ji Won, and Kyuhyun will be departing for Kenya in May to film a spin-off installment of 'New Journey To The West'.
The trio's trip to Kenya was previously promised to viewers in 2019 on season 7 of 'New Journey To The West'. As a prize for winning a game, Kyuhyun drew one of three prizes and pulled a trip to Kenya to stay at a "giraffe hotel" with his teammates, Lee Soo Geun and Eun Ji Won.
After 6 years, Na Young Suk PD has finally gathered the trio for the promised trip. Filming is scheduled to take place for approximately a week some time in May.
Meanwhile, many viewers are looking forward to the return of Na Young Suk PD's beloved variety series, 'New Journey To The West', which went on break after its 8th season in 2020.
