At the 'Billboard Women in Music 2025' event held in Los Angeles on March 29, Jennie and aespa were seated just one table apart—bringing together two of K-pop’s most prominent female acts. In one fancam, Jennie is seen mustering the courage to say "hello" to aespa after a shy pause.

In the video, Jennie hesitates for a moment but eventually turns around to bow in a friendly greeting. aespa then stands briefly to return the gesture, bowing to Jennie as their senior.

The charming clip has been gaining traction on X, where fans are reacting with comments like: "She's so genuine and mature," "Jennie pushing past the shyness to say hi to aespa is peak bravery," "She always looks back many times, and greets them first," and "she always greets her Korean juniors first when they are at an event together even though they weren't close before."
