The film 'Secret: Untold Melody' (directed by Seo Yu Min) has surpassed its break-even point amidst steady box office performance.
As of February 25, 'Secret: Untold Melody' has reached 800,813 viewers, surpassing its break-even point of 800,000 viewers in just 29 days since its release.
On its fourth day of release, the movie ranked first in overall ticket reservations. It also took the top spot in seat sales during the opening weekend. In its second weekend, the film rose to second place in the overall box office rankings.
It has continued its long-running success. In its third week of release, the film reached first place in the Korean film box office and first place in the Korean film seat sales ranking, showing strong momentum thanks to positive word of mouth.
'Secret: Untold Melody' is a fantasy romance that tells the story of Yu Jun (played by Doh Kyung Soo) and Jeong Ah (played by Won Jin Ah), who meet in a campus practice room where the secrets of time are hidden.
The film is based on a popular Taiwanese movie 'Secret.' It has been praised for the heartfelt performances of young cast members, including Doh Kyung Soo, Won Jin Ah, and Shin Ye Eun, which have led to multiple viewings by audiences.
