Jeon Hyun Moo humorously addressed the rumors surrounding his relationship with announcer Hong Ju Yeon, confirming a May wedding.
On the February 9(KST) broadcast of KBS2's 'Boss in the Mirror', Jeon Hyun Moo clarified the rumors that had been circulating after a photo of him dining with Hong Ju Yeon and fellow announcers was leaked. When Um Ji In announced she had a tip regarding Jeon Hyun Moo, he nervously responded, "Who leaked it?"
The cast had fun teasing Jeon Hyun Moo about the situation. Kim Sook joked, "The other two guys were just decoys. He brought them along to shield himself while dating Hong Ju Yeon." Park Myung Soo added, "Even your teeth were fully visible in that photo—it’s real! Rumor has it you're in a common-law marriage." The jokes continued with Lee Kyung Kyu chiming in, "I heard there's already a child involved."
Throughout the episode, Jeon Hyun Moo showed his affection for Hong Ju Yeon by defending her. When Um Ji In scolded Hong Ju Yeon during a radio broadcast rehearsal, Jeon Hyun Moo stood up for her, saying, "You made her feel intimidated." He also noted how they both wore their headphones the same way, exclaiming, "That gave me chills!"
The teasing escalated when Park Myung Soo suggested Jeon Hyun Moo consider holding the wedding at the hotel where chef Shin Jong Chul works. Jeon Hyun Moo expressed frustration, sharing, "My mom called asking if I was really getting married in March. Even Chuu called to congratulate me!" He emphasized that most of the rumors were untrue but humorously agreed to "correct" the date to May when Park Myung Soo said, "Then let's just say it's in May."
Chef Shin Jong Chul joined in on the fun, offering to prepare a special menu for Jeon Hyun Moo's wedding. Kim Sook quipped, "Next, we'll see articles about you signing a contract with a wedding hall." Jeon Hyun Moo, laughing in resignation, replied, "That sounds about right."
The lighthearted segment has fueled more curiosity about Jeon Hyun Moo's potential wedding.
