According to media outlet reports on February 6 KST, the female BJ who extorted approximately 840 million KRW (~ $550,000 USD) from singer Kim Junsu has received a 7-year prison sentence.
The 1st criminal division of the Uijeongbu District Court, which oversaw the case, stated, "When her relationship with the victim became distant, the defendant decided to extort money and other valuables by using privately recorded conversations and photos."
The court continued, "Over the course of 4 years from 2020 through 2024, the defendant extorted a total of 840 million KRW. Considering the method and duration, the defendant's crimes are quite serious."
The female BJ's side defended her case, saying, "She was addicted to propofol and could not make rational decisions. It seems she committed the crime to obtain funds for drugs. She has been reflecting on her wrongdoings."
