EXO's Chanyeol has joined the list of donors who have made immense contributions.
On February 7, the non-profit organization Snail of Love, which supports individuals with hearing impairments, held a ceremony at their headquarters. During the event, Chanyeol was added as the 14th member of the 'Soul Leader Club,' which is reserved for significant donors.
Chanyeol’s total donations have now surpassed 99 million KRW (~68,027 USD). Since 2021, he has been supporting 13 children with hearing impairments, funding cochlear implant surgeries, speech rehabilitation, and more.
In addition to his regular monthly donations, Chanyeol has made extra contributions on special occasions such as Children’s Day and Christmas. At the end of last year, he made a one-time donation of 20 million KRW (~13,743 USD).
During the ceremony, Chanyeol shared, "I have been supporting Snail of Love since 2021. I’m happy and honored to learn more about the organization through this induction ceremony."
He continued, “As a Soul Leader donor, I feel a sense of responsibility and will continue to stay involved, thinking about how I can further contribute.” Kim Min Ja, the president of Snail of Love, expressed gratitude, saying, "We are thankful for Chanyeol’s ongoing interest and generosity. His positive influence will greatly help many individuals with hearing impairments."
