Luminate, a leading analytics platform that tracks trends across various entertainment sectors, has released its latest ranking of the Top 10 CD album sales in the U.S. for 2024.
The chart reveals that K-pop artists continued their immense influence in the global music scene, with several groups landing spots in the top ranks.
K-pop groups such as Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, ATEEZ, TXT, and TWICE are featured prominently on the list, showcasing their global popularity and growing influence in the Western market.
Impressively, Stray Kids and ATEEZ each secured two spots on the list. Stray Kids claimed second place with their album 'ATE,' which sold 442,000 copies, and fifth place with 'HOP,' which sold 248,000 copies.
ATEEZ ranked fourth with 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1,' selling 250,000 copies, and seventh with 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 2,' which sold 225,000 copies.
ENHYPEN secured third place with 'Romance: Untold,' followed closely by Stray Kids, ATEEZ, and TXT. TXT sold 240,000 copies of 'Minisode 3: TOMORROW.' Additionally, TWICE made their mark on the rankings with 'With YOU-th.'
Overall, seven K-pop albums appeared in the Top 10 of the U.S. CD album sales ranking, underscoring K-pop’s growing influence in the global music scene.
