BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is set to make her highly anticipated comeback with her new mini-album, 'AMORTAGE,' scheduled for release on February 14th KST.
On January 27th KST, Jisoo’s agency BLISSOO unveiled the timeline for 'AMORTAGE' through their official social media accounts.
According to the teaser, Jisoo will release various content leading up to her comeback, including the album cover, concept posters, and music video teasers. Fans are eagerly anticipating her new visuals and the fresh narrative she will bring to the table.
The album title, 'AMORTAGE,' merges the French word for love, 'AMOR,' with the cinematic term 'MONTAGE,' symbolizing a romance akin to an unforgettable movie. Jisoo plans to portray complex and beautiful emotions, captivating her audience like a mesmerizing film.
Following her global success as a member of BLACKPINK and her solo debut with 'FLOWER,' which showcased her unique identity, Jisoo is making her solo comeback after two years. Her new album is expected to highlight her multifaceted charms and solidify her status as an all-rounder artist.
In addition to her musical activities, Jisoo will star as Youngju in Coupang Play’s original series 'Newtopia,' premiering on February 7th.
Jisoo's second solo album, 'AMORTAGE,' will be released on February 14th.
