The long-awaited film 'Bogota: City of the Lost', starring Song Joong Ki was released on December 31 after a five-year production journey. However, promotional activities have been suspended in light of the recent Jeju Air tragedy, as the nation observes a period of mourning.
Directed by Kim Sung Jae, 'Bogota: City of the Lost' is set in the aftermath of the IMF crisis, portraying the story of Guk Hee (Song Joong Ki), a young man seeking a new beginning in Bogota, Colombia. As Guk Hee integrates into the Korean community, he becomes entangled with Soo Young (Lee Hee Joon) and Park Byung Jang (Kwon Hae Hyo), leading to a tense and emotional narrative about survival and ambition in a foreign land.

Despite the excitement surrounding the release, the tragic Jeju Air crash on December 29 has led the production team to halt all promotional activities. The government has declared a national mourning period until January 4, prompting the cancellation of several planned events, including Song Joong Ki and Lee Hee Joon’s appearance on SBS Power FM’s 'Park Seon Young’s Cinetown'.
