Web variety show ‘Pingyego’ delays content release in mourning.
The production team behind the YouTube channel 'Ddeunddeun' announced on December 30th that the release of 'Pingyego EP.64' has been postponed in light of the recent Jeju Air tragedy.
In a community post, the team expressed, “We extend our deepest condolences to the victims of the tragedy and heartfelt sympathies to the grieving families.” They added, “The episode originally scheduled for release this Wednesday will now be uploaded on January 8th at 12 PM. We ask for the understanding of our subscribers during this time of mourning. We pray for the repose of the departed souls.”
This decision follows a similar announcement from 'Salon Drip 2', which also delayed its content release out of respect for the victims and their families. The web entertainment industry is joining the broader movement to honor and mourn the lives lost in this tragic incident.
