The '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards' took place on the evening of December 21 at the KBS New Building Public Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, and broadcast live for viewers nationwide. The event was hosted by Lee Joon, Lee Chan Won, and Lee Young Ji.
In the Show & Variety category, the Rookie Award went to Zico, who hosted 'The Seasons', and Karina of aespa, recognized for her work on 'Synchro U'.
Zico expressed his gratitude by sharing, "It's been 5,000 days since my debut, and this is my first time receiving a Rookie Award. I struggled from the very first episode, but thanks to the support of the production team, I was able to make it through."
Karina, visibly moved, said, "I wasn’t prepared to give a speech, but I’m deeply thankful to the 'Synchro U' team for guiding me through my first terrestrial variety show. Being here without my members feels new and overwhelming. I promise to continue showing diverse activities in both my main career and variety. Please look forward to it, and thank you so much."
Their heartfelt speeches left a strong impression, marking a memorable moment in their respective careers.
