On December 27, Woollim Entertainment announced that the exclusive contracts with Golden Child and Rocket Punch have ended.
According to the agency, the exclusive contracts for five Golden Child members — Lee Da Yeol, Y, Bae Seung Min, Bong Jae Hyun, and Kim Dong Hyun — will officially end on December 31, 2024. In the same way, the exclusive contracts for four members of Rocket Punch—Yeonhee, Yunkyung, Sohee, and Dahyun—will officially end on December 31, 2024. All nine idols have agreed with the agency that they will not renew their contracts and will pursue their individual paths.
With the majority of their members departing, the future of Golden Child and Rocket Punch remains uncertain.
