Actress Gong Hyo Jin expressed her gratitude for her junior, Lee Min Ho, and his generous congratulatory gift during an appearance on 'Salon Drip 2.'
On the afternoon of the 24th, the 71st episode of Jang Do Yeon's web entertainment show 'Salon Drip 2' was released on the YouTube channel 'TEO Theo.' Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin, the lead actors in tvN’s upcoming drama 'When the Stars Gossip' appeared as guests.
During the episode, MC Jang Do Yeon brought up Gong Hyo Jin’s marriage, asking, *“Didn’t you experience one of the most special moments of your life while filming 'When the Stars Gossip?'” Gong Hyo Jin had a private wedding in New York in 2022 with singer-songwriter Kevin Oh, who is 10 years younger than her. Lee Min Ho responded warmly, saying, “Yes, Gong Hyo Jin met a miracle,” and celebrated her marriage as if it were his own joy.
When Jang Do Yeon asked if he noticed any changes in Gong Hyo Jin after her wedding, Lee Min Ho said, “The best thing to see was that my older sister finally found peace of mind. She always had a sense of responsibility and worried a lot, but meeting her true partner allowed her to relax. It was the most gratifying change to see.”
Gong Hyo Jin shared how her wedding aligned with the busy filming schedule of 'When the Stars Gossip' She explained, “The project took longer than I expected, and I wondered if I should postpone the wedding. After discussing it with my family, we decided not to postpone it. I had the ceremony and left for the US for 10 days.”
She continued, “Min Ho would have wanted to attend, but he covered for me during filming while I got married and returned.”
Lee Min Ho revealed that he congratulated her with a thoughtful gift, prompting Gong Hyo Jin to praise his thoughtfulness, saying, “He exchanged the congratulatory money into dollars so I could use it in the US.”
When Jang Do Yeon joked,“Was the scale of the gift like Kim Tan from 'The Heirs?'” Gong Hyo Jin laughed and said, “I was surprised. I told him, 'I’ll have to repay you when you get married,' but he said, 'I don’t think I’ll get married, so don’t worry.'” Lee Min Ho clarified, “I said that to avoid making her feel burdened.” Gong Hyo Jin added, “Min Ho is the type who spends money generously. He’s the kind of person who says, 'Let me spend some money.'”
'When the Stars Gossip' a romantic drama set in a zero-gravity space station, tells the story of Eve (played by Gong Hyo Jin), a boss working in space, and an uninvited dinosaur with a secret mission (played by Lee Min Ho). The first episode will air on January 4th 2025.
