aespa’s ‘Armageddon’ and ‘Whiplash’ to be Released as LP albums in 2025.
aespa, under SM Entertainment, will release LP versions of their 2024 hit albums ‘Armageddon’ and ‘Whiplash’ on February 24, 2025 KST.
The LP releases follow the immense success of the CDP version of ‘Armageddon,’ which caused a “sold-out frenzy.” The announcement, made on December 10 through aespa’s official social media channels, included teaser content for the LP versions. A redesigned video of ‘WHIPMIXER,’ which had previously allowed fans to mix and download ‘Whiplash’ audio clips, also drew significant attention.
In 2024, aespa scored consecutive mega-hits with ‘Supernova’ and ‘Armageddon’ from their first full-length album, and the techno-EDM-based ‘Whiplash’ from their fifth mini-album. Both LP versions are expected to enjoy great reception as fans eagerly anticipate collectible releases of these critically acclaimed works.
