Stray Kids’ Seungmin delivers heartfelt comfort to youth in solo teaser for new album.
Ahead of the release of Stray Kids’ new album SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’ and its title track “Walkin On Water” on December 13th KST, the group unveiled a solo teaser featuring member Seungmin on November 26th through their official social media channels.
The teaser, titled ‘Stray Kids “合 (HOP)” UNVEIL: TRACK “That’s How, Slowly, Us (Seungmin)”’, showcases Seungmin deep in thought while throwing a baseball and practicing batting. The video transitions to Seungmin putting on earphones and running, portraying the fleeting emotions of youth. The teaser ends with the title of Seungmin’s solo track, “That’s How, Slowly, Us,” raising anticipation for the emotional resonance it will bring.
The album includes 12 tracks, headlined by “Walkin On Water,” and features songs like “Bounce Back,” “U (Feat. TABLO),” “Walkin On Water (HIP Ver.),” and solo tracks from their world tour ‘Stray Kids World Tour ’ such as “Railway (Bang Chan),” “Unfair (Felix),” “HALLUCINATION (I.N.),” “Youth (Lee Know),” “So Good (Hyunjin),” “ULTRA (Changbin),” “Hold My Hand (Han),” and “That’s How, Slowly, Us (Seungmin).”
Stray Kids continue to solidify their global influence. Recently, they announced the second phase of their largest world tour to date, , which includes stadium performances across 20 locations in Latin America, North America, and Europe. Additionally, their track “SLASH” from the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’ has been nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media at the 67th Grammy Awards, scheduled for February 2nd, 2025.
Stray Kids are also nominated for three awards at the upcoming ‘Billboard Music Awards’ on December 12th: Top Duo/Group, Top K-Pop Album, and Top Global K-Pop Artist. Last year, they made history as the first 4th-generation K-pop boy group and the second boy group overall to win the Top K-Pop Album trophy with their third studio album ‘★★★★★ (5-STAR).’
