Season 2 of SBS's 'The Fiery Priest' is off to a stellar start.
According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of 'The Fiery Priest II', which aired on November 8 KST, recorded an average nationwide viewership rating of 11.9%, with the highest rating of the episode peaking at 15.4%. This is the highest rating recorded by any broadcast aired on this day.
Season 1 of 'The Fiery Priest', which aired from February through April of 2019, started off with similar numbers as well, recording an average nationwide viewership rating of 10.4% after its premiere. By the final episode, the drama's ratings had doubled, recording an average nationwide rating of 22%.
Meanwhile, the dream team including Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun return for 'The Fiery Priest II', joined by new faces like Sung Joon, Seo Hyun Woo, Kim Hyung Seo (BIBI), and more. The drama will be greeting viewers every Friday and Saturday nights at 9:50 PM KST.
