Kim Jong Kook revealed he undergoes medical tests without anesthesia to save money.
On the November 6th episode of MBC variety show 'Frugal Man', famously frugal singer Kim Jong Kook shared a shocking way he saves money. Lucy vocalist Choi Sang Yeop expressed, "Recently, I went for a health checkup and had to undergo an upper endoscopy. They told me sedation would cost 80,000 won ($57.11 USD), so to save that money, I decided to have the procedure done without sedation."
Kim Jong Kook then responded, "I do both upper and lower endoscopies without sedation," adding, "I highly recommend it, everyone. You can even talk with the doctor during the procedure." When asked if it was painful, he said, "There's no pain. Actually, my stomach was the tough part. The lower part (colon) was fine."
As for advice, the singer shared, "You need to build your patience. You have to slowly endure the level of pain."
