BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Doh Kyung Soo make surprise appearances at ZICO’s concert

On the second day of his solo concert ‘ZICO LIVE: JOIN THE PARADE’, rapper Zico brought out the big guns with surprise guest appearances by BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Doh Kyung Soo (also known as EXO’s D.O).

Commemorating his tenth anniversary since his solo debut, it has been six years since his last solo concert, ‘King of the Zungle’ in 2018.

Fans are wowed as superstar Jennie took the stage to join Zico in ‘Spot!’, one of the top collaboration hits of 2024. This also marks the first time the duo has performed the song together.

The heat kept rising as another superstar, Doh Kyung Soo, made his appearance, demonstrating the two’s strong friendship. Doh Kyung Soo performed a medley of four of his solo hits, “Mars,” “That’s okay,” “I Do,” and “Popcorn.”

Doh Kyung Soo wittily cracked the audience up as he teased Zico about acting cool in front of fans and questioned if he is a good fit for Zico’s hip-hop concert with his ballads and jolly love songs, while thanking the audience for their warm welcome. He also hinted that he is preparing for more upbeat songs for his next album, and asked for everyone’s support for both Jiho (Zico’s real name) and himself.
