More Vision, Chungha’s agency, announced that Chungha will step down from her position as the DJ of KBS Cool FM’s ‘Chungha’s Raise the Volume’ after the broadcast on October 6th. Chungha will host her final live show on October 4th, with the broadcasts on October 5th and 6th being pre-recorded as her farewell to listeners.
Since being selected as the DJ on October 2nd of last year, Chungha has spent a year connecting deeply with listeners, sharing various stories and receiving love for her calm voice and comforting charm.
Chungha expressed her feelings about leaving, saying, "It was an invaluable time that I will remember for the rest of my life, an experience like no other. Thanks to all the support and warmth, I was able to grow so much. I will definitely feel a void for a while."
She continued, "I felt the need to focus more on my music career, which led me to make the difficult decision to step down. Since it was a tough choice, I promise to return as a singer with even better performances. Thank you to everyone who has been with me, and please continue to support ‘Raise the Volume.’"
Fans are expressing their disappointment at the news of Chungha’s departure. The new DJ for ‘Raise the Volume’ has yet to be announced, and there is growing curiosity about who will fill her shoes and what changes the program will undergo moving forward.
