On the morning of September 19 KST, MC Taemin, Choi Hyo Jin CP, Jo Woo Ri PD, and the seven competing teams of Mnet's 'Road To Kingdom : ACE of ACE' attended a press conference ahead of the program's premiere.
Regarding his first solo MC role on a competition program, Taemin stated, "I am learning a lot as an MC, and am constantly worried that I might be causing trouble while filming, but I'm still trying my best." He also added on, "Watching the competing teams doing their best and partaking in healthy competition has been a good source of inspiration for me."
Following MC Taemin, each of the seven competing teams including THE NEW SIX, The CrewOne (ATBO + Just B), 8TURN, ONEUS, YOUNITE, CRAVITY, and TEMPEST expressed their thoughts on the fierce competition what they hoped to achieve through the program.
Meanwhile, the winner of Mnet's 'Road To Kingdom : ACE of ACE' will be awarded a prize of 100 billion KRW (~ $750,000 USD), plus attendance at next year's 'KCON' festivals. The survival begins on September 19 at 9:30 PM KST.
