The legendary girl group 2NE1, fueled by an explosive response from fans worldwide, has sold out all seats for their upcoming Seoul concert and has now confirmed the addition of an extra performance.

On August 12, YG Entertainment announced, "An additional concert for '2024 2NE1 Concert - Welcome Back - in Seoul' will be held on October 4." This means that 2NE1 will now hold a total of three performances at Seoul Olympic Park's Olympic Hall, including the originally scheduled dates of October 5 and 6, allowing more fans to attend.

YG Entertainment explained that the decision was made in response to numerous requests from fans who were unable to secure tickets. The initial ticket sales, which opened on August 5, saw over 400,000 simultaneous connections, leading to both dates selling out at an exceptionally fast rate.

As this concert marks the reunion of 2NE1, who have a vast catalog of hit songs, fan interest continues to grow. Major international media outlets such as Billboard and NME have also highlighted their return, indicating that the competition for tickets will be fierce both domestically and internationally.

Tickets for the additional concert will be available for general sale on August 21 at 8 PM via Interpark Ticket. 

To accommodate the new date, existing ticket sales have been temporarily paused, and further details can be found on the official website.

Following the Seoul concerts, 2NE1 will continue their tour with performances at Kobe World Hall in Japan at the end of November and Ariake Arena in Tokyo in early December. 

The group plans to expand their global tour further, meeting fans in various countries through the next year.
