According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system, as of midnight on July 29, 'Handsome Guys' has attracted a cumulative audience of 1,716,834, making it the 5th highest-grossing Korean film released in 2024.
This achievement follows the success of other major films released this year, such as 'Exhuma' and 'The Roundup: Punishment,' which both drew over ten million viewers, as well as 'Escape' and 'Hijacking.' 'Handsome Guys' stands out as the only comedy among these top-ranking films, further drawing attention.
Since its release on Wednesday, June 26, 'Handsome Guys' has benefited from positive word-of-mouth, strong recommendations, and repeat viewings. The film surpassed one million viewers on Monday, July 8, crossed the break-even point of 1.1 million viewers on Thursday, July 11, and reached 1.5 million viewers by Saturday, July 20.
