Hyeri is set to star in the upcoming mystery thriller drama 'Friendly Competition'.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, 'Friendly Competition' is a high-teen mystery thriller that delves into the precarious relationships among teenage girls in a ruthless survival competition. It portrays the story unfolding at Chaehwa High School, where the top 1% of South Korea's students gather.
In the drama, Hyeri will play the unique role of Yoo Jae I, a standout at the high school. She's a genius student who ranks in the top 0.1%, and though she's gifted with natural beauty, a high IQ, and a privileged background, she's a truly manipulative character who feels she's superior to others. She'll show a special interest in transfer student Woo Soo Ki, unfolding a relationship between friendship and obsession.
