On July 16 KST, his agency Story J Company announced, "Kim Jung Hyun has been cast in 'Iron Family.' He will play the role of Seo Kang Joo, an executive at Ji Seung Group. We ask for your interest and support for Kim Jung Hyun in this role."
'Iron Family' is a romantic black comedy drama centered around the 'Cheongnyeom Laundry' family, who, instead of ironing clothes, find themselves ironing out monetary issues.
In the drama, Kim Jung Hyun will portray Seo Kang Joo, the son of the wealthiest family in Cheongnyeom-dong, who entrusts his most expensive suits and shirts to the 'Cheongnyeom Laundry'. Unlike the typical chaebol heir, his character values warm human relationships over money, promising to bring a fresh charm to the viewers.
Kim Jung Hyun has previously starred in various films and dramas, including MBC's 'Kokdu: Season of Diety', tvN's "Mr. Queen," and 'Crash Landing on You'. He has built a unique acting style across a wide range of genres, from romance and comedy to thrillers, making a strong impression.
KBS 2TV's 'Iron Family' is set to premiere in September.
