SM Entertainment announced on May 8 KST that BoA, the celebrated singer, made a heartwarming gesture on Children's Day by donating 50 million won to the Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The generous contribution is earmarked to support the treatment of pediatric cancer patients.

Expressing her motivation behind the donation, BoA stated, "Every child deserves happiness, and I wanted to offer support to those in need of a helping hand. Having debuted at a young age and received immense love, I feel compelled to give back." She emphasized that the decision to donate stemmed from heartfelt consideration.

This isn't the first time BoA has shown her philanthropic side. Last January, she donated 100 million won to aid the independence of youth transitioning out of protective care, earning recognition as the 3100th member of the Honor Society and the 700th member of the 'W Honor Society', a group of esteemed female donors. Her dedication to mentoring and supporting children and youth continues to leave a meaningful impact.

Celebrating her 24th debut anniversary this year, BoA has expanded her influence beyond singing into acting, hosting, and judging on various audition programs. She has also collaborated on projects and produced NCT WISH.
