Kim Sae Ron pulls out of the play 'Dongchimi' due to health reasons

On April 18 KST, the theatrical production 'Dongchimi' announced actress Kim Sae Ron's departure from the production cast.

According to the production organizers, "Kim Sae Ron has decided to pull out of the project due to health reasons." Earlier this week, Kim Sae Ron was cast as the character Jungyeon in 'Dongchimi', which tells the touching story of an elderly couple and three siblings.

Kim Sae Ron, who has been on hiatus from promotions since 2022 after being charged with a DUI, most recently stirred up controversy for posting an intimate photo of her and actor Kim Soo Hyun on her Instagram. The post was quickly taken down afterward, but the actress's side has yet to formally address the post.
