Jo Yeo Jung graces the Cannes International Series Festival

On April 10, LG Uplus STUDIO X+U announced the successful official screening of "Taro" at the Cannes International Series Festival, a first for a Korean series, along with photos of Jo Yeo Jung attending the pink carpet event.

"Taro" has garnered attention as the first Korean series to be invited to compete in the short series category of the 7th Cannes International Series Festival. The series is currently drawing significant global media and audience interest with its official schedule in Cannes.

Jo Yeo Jung, who previously attended Cannes in 2019 for the movie "Parasite," has returned to Cannes after five years, creating buzz around her achievement.

Attending the Cannes Series to introduce "Taro," Jo began her official schedule on April 9 with a photo call and interviews with global media. The episode of "Taro" featuring Jo Yeo Jung, titled "Santa's Visit," premiered globally to a full house and enthusiastic audience response.

Following the screening, audiences reportedly applauded the intense thrill and mystery of "Taro," as well as Jo Yeo Jung's compelling performance in the lead role.

After completing her official duties at Cannes with "Taro," Jo Yeo-jung expressed her pride and joy, saying, "I am proud and happy that K-content was invited to the Cannes International Series Festival with 'Taro.' "Taro" is an anthology series depicting the cruel fate of individuals caught in the curse of twisted tarot cards following a moment's choice. It consists of seven episodes with distinct themes: "Solo Storage," "Phishing," "Santa's Visit," "Please Discard," "Going Home," "Rent Mom," and "Couple Manager."
