On April 5 KST, former B2ST member Jang Hyunseung appeared as a guest on Big Bang Daesung's new YouTube series, 'ZIP (Home) Daesung'.

On this day, Daesung opened the episode by commenting, "Jang Hyunseung was unfortunately eliminated on 'Big Bang Project'. We were not able to keep in touch much after that. I'm not the kind of person who can send people affectionate greetings." 

After greeting Jang Hyunseung, Daesung observed, "We're having a long conversation like this for the first time since the Big Bang documentary."

Here, Daesung mentioned the past friction between Jang Hyunseung and the members of Highlight. "When the members tried to create the group Highlight, there were news articles saying that a new B2ST would be formed with Jang Hyunseung and 2 other members." 

Hearing this, Jang Hyunseung recalled his position at the time. "I was never notified of those plans. Yes, I was still at that company at the time, but they never told me anything. I saw the news when I woke up in the morning," the former B2ST member said. 

Daesung then asked, "Did the other members also hear about it through the news?" Hyunseung replied, "I believe so. When I think about it now, I guess to them, it could have sounded like I was involved in that decision. But if they thought that, it was a misunderstanding." 

To this, Daesung commented, "Do you ever want to reconcile with them and just open up about everything? Now that it's all in the past." 

Hyunseung answered, "It really has been a long time. I'm always open to conversations. It's just that no one has really gone out of their way to make that conversation possible." 

Empathizing, Daesung observed, "Being a part of a team is not easy, right?"
