As previously reported, Hyuk will be the final VIXX member to enlist for his mandatory military service next month on April 18 KST. After basic training, Hyuk is set to fulfill his enlistment duties as a public service worker.
The VIXX member also shared a letter with fans following the news. He wrote:
"Hello, Starlight! This is VIXX' maknae Hyuk. Firstly, I'll be fulfilling my duties to the country on April 18! You were surprised, right?! I was caught offguard because you all found out through the news, and I feel saddened that my Starlight was probably more shocked and hurt because of that... I wanted to talk about the concert with you and enjoy my time with you filled with heart fluttering moments before the fan concert, so I'm a bit hurt that I can't do that. However, we have a home party, and there's still time left. Let's make a lot of good memories before I go! As I know you're worried and cheering me on, I'll return as a more healthy and mature VIXX' Hyuk in body and mind! So you all have to stay healthy and send me updates and support every now and then, okay?!"
Before his enlistment, Hyuk will be holding his 2024 fan concert 'Home' on March 30 at Sungshin University auditorium.

I knew it was coming but its still such a surprise, I loved the latest releases of his MV with his Ad.A YouTube Channel. It was really cool seeing him as a producer and showing his passion for it. I hope our maknae will come back soon and healthy.
