Lim Siwan & Park Gyu Young in talks for new action film 'Mantis'

According to media outlet reports on March 29 KST, actors Lim Siwan and Park Gyu Young have been tapped for a new Netflix original action film, 'Mantis'.

The film is said to be a spin-off to the 2023 action film 'Kill Boksoon', which starred Jeon Do Yeon, Seol Kyung Goo, and Lee Som. 'Mantis' was the name of an unidentified assassin that both Seol Kyung Goo and Lee Som's characters mentioned in 'Kill Boksoon'.

In response to the media outlet reports, a representative of Lim Siwan's label Plum Agency stated, "[The actor] is still in the process of reviewing the offer," while Park Gyu Young's label Saram Entertainment commented, "Nothing is currently confirmed."

Meanwhile, Lim Siwan and Park Gyu Young will be working together on the set of Netflix's 'Squid Game 2'.
