Singer Lee Soo Young is set to breathe new life into her iconic song 'La La La,' 22 years after its original release. The re-recorded version, 'La La La (2024),' is part of the eighth installment of the Return of the King of School project and is scheduled for release on March 12.

The Return of the King of School project unfolds within a universe centered around a music club at King of Vocals High School. It aims to shed light on and reminisce about the glorious days of a legendary king of vocals who has returned to school.

'La La La' was the title track of Lee Soo Young's fourth studio album, 'My Stay In Sendai,' released in 2002, marking her first chart-topping success. Known for her uniquely captivating vocal style, Lee Soo Young is expected to enhance the emotional atmosphere of the song with an arrangement that respects the original composition while introducing dramatic string sounds in the latter part of the track to evoke deep emotions among listeners.

Lee Soo Young made her debut in 1999 with her first studio album, 'I Believe.' In 2022, after a 13-year hiatus, she made a triumphant return with her tenth studio album, 'SORY.' Since then, Lee Soo Young has remained active, releasing music for drama OSTs, including 'There is No Goo Pil Soo,' and appearing on various entertainment programs, continuing to engage with her fans.
