We're only 2 months into 2024, and already we've seen a huge number of major releases from notable groups and artists across the K-Pop industry. 2023 was the year of the girl group But which songs and artists have reigned supreme in the new year?

Thanks to TUNEGEM's Monthly K-Pop Charts, we're able to track the latest and greatest data from across all artists and releases based on the covers made on their app! Starting with January 2024's Monthly Idol Cover Chart, we see that girl groups still reign supreme in the New Year.

This month groups like NewJeans, IVE, and TWICE rose on the charts, likely due to high brand value and new relases. ITZY and BTS also entered the Top 10 Artist chart this month for similar reasons. Groups like LE SSERAFIM and BLACKPINK also remain strong despite minor fluctuations on the Top 10 chart.
