BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) to Release New Digital Single "FRI(END)S" on Friday, March 15

Kim Taehyung, aka V from BTS, is providing fans with lots of content to enjoy while fulfilling his mandatory military service.

On March 4KST, BigHit Music announced the upcoming release of Taehyung's new digital single titled "FRI(END)S," set to be released on Friday, March 15, at 1 PM KST.

According to a press release, "FRI(END)S" is rooted in the Pop Soul R&B genre and delivers relatable, witty romance through lyrics written entirely in English. The vivid pink background of the artwork accompanying the announcement hints at the song's sweet mood.

Ahead of the release of "FRI(END)S," Taehyung will unveil a diverse array of contents including concept photos and teaser videos, offering a further glimpse into the new single.

The single arrives six months after the release of Taehyung's first solo album 'Layover' in September 2023. Having garnered significant recognition as a solo artist, he is poised to once again showcase his magnetic presence as a soulful vocalist channeling his distinctive sound and unique tastes through the upcoming single.
