The prosecution has sought a prison sentence for a former girl group member turned BJ (broadcasting jockey) who was indicted after unfounded claims of accusing her agency CEO of attempted sexual assault.

On February 27 KST, during a deliberation trial presided over by Judge Park So Jung at the Seoul Central District Court, the prosecution requested a one-year prison term for A, who was indicted without detention.

A, who had been active as a member of a girl group before transitioning to work as a BJ after suspending her activities, filed a police report against her agency CEO B, in January last year, accusing him of attempted sexual assault.

When the case was not prosecuted at the time, A filed an objection. Upon receiving the case, the prosecution began investigating A's claims based on evidence such as CCTV footage.

During the trial, CCTV footage was released, showing A calmly walking out of the room where she was with B shortly after the alleged incident and walking around the office interior and hugging B.

The sentencing date is set for March 21 at 10 AM KST.
