BTS's V deployed to the Army's 2nd division in Chuncheon to begin his duties in the military police force

On February 8, BTS member V made a brief public appearance at Chuncheon station in Gangwon-do, on his way to his assigned unit at the ROK Army's 2nd division.

V, who enlisted as an active duty soldier on December 11, 2023, will carry out the remainder of his mandatory duties as a member of the military police special forces housed within the 2nd division of the ROK Army.

Previously, V applied to the Capital Defense Command Special Mission Division (SDT) and passed the first round of document screening, second round of interviews, and physical fitness tests. After completing his 5-week basic training, V went on to enter the Army's Comprehensive Administration School, receiving training for an additional three weeks.
