According to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office on December 22 KST, a former idol group member Choi (27) has been indicted for illegally filming his girlfriend during sexual intercourse. 

Between July of 2022 and May of 2023, Choi illegally filmed his girlfriend at the time, 'A', a total of 18 times, including during sexual intercourse and of various body parts. Choi is also believed to have suggested that 'A' wear a blindfold during intercourse, before using a soundless camera app to film 'A' without consent. Additionally, Choi is facing charges for filming another woman, 'B', while she lay in bed in only her underwear. Choi is said to have met 'B' at a drinking establishment in Seoul in July of last year. 

Choi was forwarded to prosecution for his case in September of last year, and was recently indicted by the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office on December 8 for violation of the Act on Sexual Crime of Violence. Evidence in the form of KakaoTalk messages suggest that Choi admitted to his charges and apologized to the victim. 

Meanwhile, Choi debuted as a member of a 5-member male idol group in 2017. In 2019, he halted his promotions due to health reasons and quietly left the entertainment industry. Furthermore, also in 2019, another member of his group, Lee (25), was sentenced to probation for indecent assault against a minor. 

It is currently speculated that the idol group affiliated with Choi's case is a group called TST.
