Former NU'EST member Kim Jong Hyeon to make a solo comeback with 'Brilliant Season'

Former NU'EST member/actor Kim Jong Hyeon will be making his solo comeback in early 2024!

On December 14 KST, Kim Jong Hyeon revealed a dreamlike teaser image for his 2nd mini album, 'Brilliant Season'. A thin and bare tree, lit up with delicate lights, hints at a soothing, wintry mood for the idol's comeback album, set for release on January 3, 2024.

This will mark Kim Jong Hyeon's first official music release in approximately a year and 2 months, since the release of his 1st mini album 'MERIDIEM' in November of 2022.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong Hyeon most recently greeted viewers on the small-screen in the TVING original series 'Sound Candy'.

JR releasing new music again with no acting schedules. This makes fans wonder why did NU'EST had to disband and also 3 members leaving PLEDIS after their contract was up.

NU'EST wasn't active for a long time but PLEDIS still wanted the group to go on by offering them renewals. For the 2 who stayed on, Baekho is active on the variety scene besides his music releases and Minhyun is also active in acting and also had a album release this year. Ren, Aron and JR could have stayed on and could possibly have a much more busy solo schedule than what they are having now.
