'12.12: The Day' is a 2023 South Korean historical drama film starring Hwang Jung Min, Jung Woo Sung, Lee Sung Min, Park Hae Joon, and Kim Sung Kyun. The film is set against the backdrop of the 12 December 1979 military coup from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
The film just officially secured the second-highest box office score among movies released this year following 'The Roundup 3,' on December 9th at midnight KST.
