On November 30, at the '31st Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards' ceremony held in the Grand Ballroom of the 63 Building in Yeouido, Seoul, KISS OF LIFE was honored with the Best New Artist award in the K-POP category. Their impressive skills, high-quality music, energetic performances, and fresh appeal have established them as a rising figure among the latest generation of girl groups.
KISS OF LIFE expressed their gratitude, stating, "This being our first Best New Artist award makes it even more significant. It’s an honor to receive such a valuable award that can only be won once after debut. We are thankful to our fans, KISSY, and our agency family. We will continue to work hard to show our growth in the future."
Since their debut in July, KISS OF LIFE has captured attention with their exceptional performance, particularly with their second mini-album, ‘Born to be XX.’ They have shown more than a tenfold increase in initial album sales compared to their debut, marking significant growth on global charts and establishing themselves as ‘monster rookies' in 2023.
The Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards, a comprehensive arts ceremony, has been honoring the best artists in various fields, including culture, drama, film, adult contemporary music, K-POP, comedy, and musicals since its inception in 1992. This year marked its 31st anniversary.
Furthermore, KISS OF LIFE is set to perform at the MMA2023 (Melon Music Awards) on December 2 at the Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
