Former Rainz member Seongri to release 2 songs for fans before military enlistment

Former Rainz member Seongri is enlisting for his mandatory military service later this month.

Seongri announced the news of his upcoming enlistment by singing his track "Private's Letter" at his solo concert 'Thanks To' on the 14th. He further revealed he'll be releasing 2 brand new songs for fans before enlisting. Seongri expressed, "I decided to release a new song to convey my regret of being separated for a while from the fans who supported me with love. I'll release 2 new songs at 12PM noon before my enlistment at 2PM on the 27th, so I can stay by your side through songs at least."

He also relayed his thoughts on his military service, saying, "I think I've always run so far with a grateful heart because of you all. As a citizen of the Republic of Korea, I'll faithfully fulfill my duties as a man. I'm busy physically and mentally with my last schedule before enlistment, but I'm working hard."

Seongri will begin basic training at the Nonsan Army Training Center on November 27 at 2PM. Before then, he'll be completing his last live broadcast of KBS' 'Morning Yard' and BTN Radio's 'Shall We Date' on the 24th.
