Big Hit Music denies BTS' involvement in drug controversy and adult entertainment businesses

AKP STAFF

Big Hit Music has denied BTS' involvement in the recent celebrity drug controversies and adult entertainment businesses.

On October 26, Big Hit Music stated, "BTS are completely unrelated to the rumors, and they're not true at all. We'll respond strongly to the reckless spread of rumors." Earlier today, media outlets reported on rumors that members of BTS were regular customers at the same adult entertainment business in Gangnam that Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon, who are currently undergoing police investigations for illegal drug use, frequented.

The business in question is said to have alcohol prices set at 10 million won ($7365.08 USD). Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon were booked by police after the head of the business made statements on their drug use. At the same time, suspicious that some of the BTS members were regulars at the business were also raised.

BTS fans also released a statement denying the rumors, stating, "We'll take all possible legal measures, including criminal charges and civil damages, without any leniency or tolerance for the spread of false information and defamation."

Others are just waiting in the dark for a sandal and controversy that will end BTS I see....well keep waiting yall...as even BTS themselves suppose to know the level of freedom they have that should be within the limits of their countries and, and drugs laws

They seem to forget BTS is on their way to the military so I doubt they'll take any illegal substance that can easily be detected via any soon to be drug test for inlisting.

And before it's said Because I'm an Army so I will defend...firstly its true, I'm an Army so I will defend them against any damaging rumors until it can be verified by police authority and their agency statements.....And Big Hit has responded, and no police had called the guys up for investigation, so until anything linked them personally to such rumors, the police will take action, even against BTS.... so until then, let the guys name be!!!!!

Interesting how with the Chaewon/G-Idle rumors that were also immediately refuted in the same way the response by most commenters is on the lack of good defamation laws, but here people seem to want to try to implicate BTS for no other reason then they are BTS~ It is sad that just because a group is bigger they are viewed as lesser than humans/ ok to tear down more. I think the responses should be the same for literally the same circumstance - I wish SK had better defamation laws. Even if someone is charged and found guilty there is little punishment to deter unless you are trying to have a very specific career type. Keyboard warriors would probably not feel so bold if there was a likelihood of real, more tangible consequences for making up information to try to hurt someone else.
