Actress Cha Chung Hwa is getting married.

Her agency, IOK Company, announced on October 11 KST, "Cha Chung Hwa will marry a younger businessman in a private ceremony in Seoul on October 27."

They added, “Because the bridegroom-to-be is a non-celebrity, we kindly request your understanding that we cannot expound on his personal information.”

It is known that Cha Chung Hwa and her husband-to-be have been acquaintances for a long time and that their relationship blossomed into romance over time. Given that the groom-to-be is not a part of the entertainment industry, the couple has decided on a private wedding, making it a more personal and intimate occasion.

Meanwhile, Cha Chung Hwa has been actively pursuing her acting career since her debut in 2005 and is most known for her part in 'Crash Landing on You'. She was also in dramas such as 'Hometown Cha Cha Cha', 'Mr Queen', and 'See You in My 19th Life'.
